Shipping Info & Rates
Koi, Butterfly Koi, Goldfish and all other live animals are shipped via UPS Next Day Air or Southwest Air Cargo.
UPS Next Day Air
Blue Ridge ships UPS Next Day Air shipments to arrive Tuesday through Saturday. You can choose your arrival day. Saturday arrival will incur a $16 Saturday Delivery fee per box, charged by UPS.
UPS will deliver the boxes directly to your location. Most deliveries are guaranteed by 10:30 AM, however some rural areas may not be guaranteed until End of Day (as late as 9 PM in some instances).
Per box shipping rates are calculated based on your state, and the number of boxes in your shipment. Find your UPS Next Day Air rates.
Southwest Air Cargo
Southwest Air Cargo shipments can be sent to any airport in the US serviced by Southwest Cargo. Typically, Southwest Cargo shipments are sent for pickup on Thursday mornings during the spring and early summer. Pick up days may change based on the volume of orders on any given week.
You will be responsible for retrieving your shipment from the Southwest cargo office after arrival. You will be provided an airway bill number which you can use to track your shipment through Southwest’s website, or by calling Southwest directly.
All Southwest Air Cargo shipments are sent using Southwest’s Fresh Fast cargo service. Fresh Fast offers premium boarding priority, short cargo connection times and a guarantee that each shipment reaches its final destination in 24 hours or less.
Payment for Southwest Air Cargo is paid directly to Southwest upon pickup. To calculate your shipping cost per box, first determine your shipping zone (we ship from zone 3) and then use the rate table for each service to determine your rates. An average box of fish weighs 25 pounds.
Fish Food Shipping
Shipments of fish food are shipped via UPS Ground, UPS Freight or LTL through various trucking services. We will always choose the most economical shipping method, and the shipping is free to you for orders of 7 cases or more!
